Productivity is Overrated

Had a small existential crisis on Thursday night, talked it out last night and felt much more solid this afternoon.

Other things I did this weekend:

1. Spent too much money

2. Stayed up until 5:30 in the morning.

3. Watched some really crappy animation.

So, there’s this guy at school I ‘hooked up’ with when he was rebounding last year. It’s been a couple months, and after it ended I removed myself from the direct friend group he’s involved to make the transition easier.

Now he’s in 2 of my 4 classes and transitioning to a decent friend state is downright weird. He thought I was more into him than I was, and may or may not think I’m a ho/stalker.  He’s been spreading rumors about several friends of mine, because we are apparently still in high school. But, neither of us are supposed to know what the other knows. But our friends love me more than him so I have information. And considering he practically stalked his last ex I guess I’ll take him awkward instead of obsessed.

And one of the classes I have twice a week, so I get to see him three days out of five.  I’m blaming the universe.  Someone wants me to resolve this better, I’m trying.

Kinda.

EDIT: And his studio is near mine, not directly across from or anything (thank god)  but it’s in the same row and I have to walk by it to get to mine. Much closer than I would like it to be.  Yeah, the world loves me.

Oh, yeah, I’m an art student If you haven’t realized.  Surprise!

If Only

So, I’m waiting  for 4 packages and the first one to come is the silverware, the least fun, least useful(my new roommate had alot more than we thought), and most boring.

Still waiting for hair extensions, dvds, and leopard print leggings.  One of which might be at the post office so I am awaiting a  confirmation call so I can either venture down or maybe just weep if it’s not there.  I’m kinda worried about leaving and missing one of the other packages, because that would be just my luck.

Classes started Monday, business as usual for the most part. My classes are all very major orientated this semester and I’m ahead on credits so I’m only taking 13 credits.  It should be a good semester.

Indulgences

Alright, so after that lovely lull I am now back at school. Navigating through boxes and new furniture like I’m a freshman again.  Our shiny ‘adult’ apartment has exciting things like a dish washer and a kitchen you can actually fit more than one person in.

Due to some saving and my last paycheck I have a nice lump of money that I am itching to burn.

I probably shouldn’t waste money right now. Especially since I just spent $45 on hair extensions.  I should at least wait until I pay my rent. I have about $100 I have to spend on things I actually need so I should also probably buy those things first.

My brother and I have decided that the only sport missing from the Olympics is a pistol duel. It existed way back in the day at some point(for shiz, look it up)  and we believe it should be brought back but competitors would shoot tranquilizer darts.

First one to hit the mat loses.

This was supposed to be the future

Went to a going away party for a friend from middle/high school. Saw a lot of people I haven’t spoken to in years.  The friend is an old crush and I haven’t seen him in over a year, it was nice, if brief, to talk to him because of how many people there were.

then I got to nurse too many mugs of coffee and make the standard conversations with people I haven’t spoken to since I was 16. and most of them I was never on amazing terms to begin with but high school is over and even a couple people I wasn’t expecting made small talk and seemed genuine enough.
